The overarching objective of this sector is to promote and capacitate vulnerable communities in the field of Health and hygiene for better rural health through Health advocacy, trainings, hygiene promotion, environmental and infrastructure development.

Fact Check

55% of population the country population has access to improved drinking water. Out of which 53% of rural population have access to improved drinking compared to 67% of urban population. 8% of population has to walk for more than 1 hour to collect drinking water. 80% of population does not have access to toilet. Infant mortality rate is 102 per 1000 live birth. Maternal rate is 2054 per 100,000 live births.
