Over an impactful 3-day training held from October 25th to 27th, the Integrated Human Development Organization (IHDO) brought together a committed group of 25 Pwata Peace and Welfare Forum (PWF) members—comprising 14 men and 11 women—from Kapoeta South County. This workshop aimed to empower these individuals by deepening their understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the PWF and building a more cohesive, functional team structure.
The training was guided by two main objectives:
- Clarifying Roles and Responsibilities: Ensuring that each Pwata PWF member thoroughly understands their specific duties and how they contribute to the overall mission of the PWF.
- Strengthening Cohesion and Functionality: Providing tools and guidance to help the Pwata PWF members work together effectively, establishing a unified group dynamic.
Key Achievements:
- Enhanced Role Clarity: All participants now have a solid grasp of their individual and collective roles, ensuring that responsibilities are well-defined and understood.
- Leadership Identification: Focal leaders were selected from each boma—Lomongele, Nachukut, Locheler, Morukoeris, and Nanakanak—creating clear leadership points within the community.
- Structured Team Formation: The Pwata PWF now has a structured, operational team equipped to serve the community efficiently, marking a significant step forward for Kapoeta South County in community organization and welfare.
This training has laid a robust foundation for the Pwata PWF to engage more effectively with community issues, supporting peace and welfare initiatives with a well-prepared team and clear leadership.
